
O.J Nathaniel Eben is a medical practitioner and multidisciplinary leader focused on sustainable solutions for the core crises of SDG3.
With over six years of leadership (and still counting) and four years of clinical experience, he founded Optimum Health Global (OPHEG) in 2022 to bridge gaps in health awareness, accessibility, and digitalization.
He has trained over 150+ volunteers and impacted approximately 7,000+ community members in over 8+ hard-to-reach communities across the Southwest Region, Cameroon, through free healthcare services like consultation, free laboratory testing, counselling, humanitarian donations and support, provided over 500+ free screenings on genotype, free screening and awareness campaign on cervical cancer and more.
Nathaniel is passionate about preventive healthcare in communities, a strong research and public health advocate.
He is the Medical Director of Optimum Medical Diagnostic Centre (OMEDIC) Kumba, where accurate and rapid diagnoses are made to solve the problems of delayed diagnoses, through very rapid and advanced diagnostic machines. He is the Convener of the National Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare professionals Festival (L.A.M.P. FEST) bringing over 700+ nurses and allied health professionals in its first edition (2025), celebrating, recognizing advocating and repositioning the nursing profession where it should be.
Convener of The Founder’s Room, providing guidance and mentorship to young founders of organizations. Added to his caps, he is the Vice President of Meme Youths Empowerment Community (MEYEC), where he sharpens talents of young persons by providing a platform for young people to display their talents, and wining cash and in-kind prices to foster their education and career.
